We were planning to see Dr John & The Lower 911 at the open air Gentilly Stage
but it rained so heavily (3" of rain in a couple of hours) we abandoned the idea

24 April
Davell Crawford and One Foot In The Blues played an excellent set in the Blues Tent /
Standing ovation for Dr John when he appears to guest with the band
Dr John performs Such A Night / John Cleary, Davell Crawford & Dr John play a piano trio climax
The effects of yesterday's rain at the Acura Stage / Art Neville playing with The Funky Meters...
...who drew a huge crowd / George Porter Jr lays down some heavy bass
Terence Blanchard playing the WWOZ Jazz Tent
Simon & Garfunkel were not on top form as they closed the Acura Stage for the day
